Service Counts

I'm excited to say my girlfriend and I celebrated our 2-year anniversary by having dinner at one of the restaurants at The Gaylord Texan last weekend. We had a great time talking about how blessed we were, our future, memories, and yes, even our feelings.

We ate at The Riverwalk Cafe beside one of the indoor waterfalls - very nice. The food was good with a great selection for a special meal. But what really made the night a little more special was the service - it was excellent.

I notice service. I have over 12 years of customer service-related experience in different parts of the US with positions ranging from point-of-sale, to management, to owning my own business and I can tell you from many perspectives, good service or bad service, it makes a difference.

On our special night, the excellent service allowed us to focus and concentrate on each other. We were the customer and our waitress did everything she could to make our night special, regardless of the occasion. We never lifted a finger and never had to ask for a thing. Thank you for the excellent service Kim!
